Do you think a nothingness exists?
Do you wonder if perhaps God is real, but only because He can be?
But not because He is?
We project ourselves onto everything, and see the microcosmos laid out and gutted
Across the Universe we live in.
A mouse's nerve cell, so stunningly similar to nebulae
Light years far.
We're here. And somewhere, we're not.
But he is, and she is.
And they've got a shade lighter hair
And an alien accent
(only so infinitesimally different from our own)
And they don't know each other…
But they know this moment. They know this sudden bewilderment as they randomly meet
And for a single breath, two realities brush
Converge
And then separate, as they go their own way.
